Higher Order
Hayatlarımızda yaşadığımız ve dünyada vuku bulan ve zaman zaman bize tesadüfi ve hatta bazen kaotik gibi görünen olaylar zincirinin ötesinde, gizli, bir düzen ve amaç vardır. This matter is splendidly expressed in Zen philosophy by the following expression:
“No snowflake ever falls in the wrong place.”
It is never possible for us to comprehend this higher order through thinking because everything we think is actually content; but the source of what we call a higher order is the formless realm of consciousness, in other words, universal intelligence. However, we can throw an instant glance at it, and, beyond this, we can harmonize with it and become the conscious players participating in the realization of that higher order.
As we enter a forest untouched by humanity, our thinking mind only sees the disorder and chaos around us. New lives erupt from the decaying and rotting matter everywhere, so it cannot distinguish life (good) and death (bad) from each other.
However, if we can keep our inner serenity and denoise our thoughts, then we can realize that there is a hidden harmony, a divinity, and a higher order where everything has its perfect place and nothing can be different from the way it is.
The human mind is more comfortable, for example, in a park intervened by humans because it is a place planned through thinking and not formed organically.
There is an order here that can be comprehended by the mind. In a forest, on the other hand, there is an order seeming chaotic to the mind and cannot be comprehended by it. This order is beyond the mental categories such as “good” and “bad”. It is not possible to understand it through your thoughts. However, you FEEL it when you lay aside your thoughts, be calm and awake, and stop trying to understand and explain it. Only then you can realize the divinity of the forest, the higher order.

As you feel this hidden harmony and divinity, you comprehend that you actually are not separate and different from it. As you comprehend this, you become a conscious player of the higher order.
