It is possible to heal your body by changing your thought patterns. Like all the experiences in our lives, we create our illnesses through our own mindscapes as well. There is a mindscape underlying the development of each outcome we reach. Therefore, we have to resolve and overcome the mental cause creating an illness in order to eliminate it permanently.<\/p>\n

Louise Hay wanted to awaken our self-healing skills by writing the book titled You Can Heal Your Life. We have to balance the body, mind, and soul in order to be whole and healthy. We must take good care of our bodies and have a positive mental attitude and strong spiritual connection regarding ourselves and life. As long as we do not choose to participate in our own healing process, no doctor and no healer can provide us with that.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything I need to know is clarified to me. Everything I need comes to me. All is well in my life. I believe these for a long time. These are not new concepts; all are ancient and eternal.\u201d<\/strong> Louise Hay<\/em><\/p>\n

I recommend you make a list of all the illnesses you have gone through to date and search for the mental causes of these. These will tell you many things about yourselves. Choose a few \u201capproval\u201d (suggestion) sentences and repeat them for a month. This will help you get rid of those old mindscapes you have carried along for a long time.<\/p>\n

Louise Hay perceived having cervical cancer as an opportunity to prove that we can heal illnesses by only changing the mindscapes. As someone who was sexually abused at five years old and battered throughout her childhood, she expressed that she did not find being diagnosed with that illness surprising. She realized that she had to do a lot of mental work as being aware that cancer was caused by the anger and resentment felt for a long time and those emotions slowly devoured the human body. She acknowledged that having operation without changing her mental pattern would not help no matter how much that area was cleaned and the illness would relapse. She made a deal with her doctor about starting the treatment after 3 months and immediately started to work in order to clean her old anger and resentment patterns. She ate healthily under the supervision of a dietician and purified her body of poisons in addition to her work on the connection. She stated that she saved the negative report from the tests at the end of six months and incurability meant the treatment was not possible through outer methods and we needed to GO WITHIN.<\/p>\n

Our consistent mindscapes create our experiences. We can explain the experience-creating power of words and ideas through Metaphysics. Metaphysics is one of the three subbranches of philosophy along with ethics and epistemology. It focuses on the concepts such as being, existence, universal feature, cause, space, time, god etc. All the elements that cannot be perceived through the five sense organs are identified as metaphysics. It is also a philosophy branch emerging in Ancient Greece. The concept of \u201cmetaphysics\u201d was first identified as the \u201cworld of ideas\u201d by Plato. Metaphysics helps us perceive the connection between ideas and physical disorders.<\/p>\n

“There is A NEED for each disease in our lives. Otherwise, we would not experience that disease. A symptom is only an external outcome. We need to turn within in order to resolve and eliminate the mental cause. Work on being disposed to be free of the need for the problem, whether it is smoking, headache, or overweight, etc., before making practice through new idea models.<\/p>\n

The mindscapes causing disorders in the body the most are CRITICISING, ANGER, RESENTMENT, AND GUILT. For example; if criticizing becomes a habit, it may cause illnesses such as arthritis (joint inflammation). Anger may turn into swelling and burning inflammation in the body. A long-term resentment poisons people, slowly devours them, and ultimately may cause tumors and cancer. Guilt always chases after punishment and causes pain.<\/p>\n
